I would like to know more about Feliks Grotowski, who was for some time militar governor (Komendant) in the province of Almería, south Spain. I got some information already, but I cannot find the place where he was born or where he died, or anything about his family or facts when he was in Almeria.

I am very happy to inform you, that person you are asking for was indeed polish officer named correctly Ryżewski. He was lieutenant In 7th polish lancer regiment (previous name: 1rg. , „Polish Lancer” ). He was born about 1770, he fight in Kosciuszko upraising, then he was In Italy In polish legion. By completely strange coincidence a few years ago we find some papers of him. Please, be a bit patient in few weeks we published some materials you find interesting I suppose.
